Five multilingual materials have released for French or Spanish speaking countries. These were translated from existing English or Japanese materials in 2010 to meet learning needs in other countries.

A step toward "I like Mathematics !"

Did you like mathematics class?
This material shows Honduras efforts to make a happy math class. Since 2003, Project for the Improvement of Teaching Method in Mathematics (PROMETAM) between JICA and the Honduras Ministry of Education has developed teacher's manuals and student's workbooks. This material is not only for Central America such as Nicaragua and El Salvador, but for French speaking African countries.

A Tool for Mainstreaming Gender: An Introduction to Gender-Responsive PCM

It is pity only boys are happy but girls are unhappy by a school enrolment project in a developing country, isn't it? Why this happens? This pity project may not have gender equality eyes in each stage of project cycle. JICA sets gender mainstreaming as an important approach to bring benefits for both men and women. This material shows a gender-responsive method in designing projects or project cycle management (PCM). This material is used in gender trainings or workshops not only for Japanese staff but for English or French speaking project staff.

Comprehensive Measures for Non-Revenue Water (NRW) Reduction - Aiming to Diminish Wastage of Water

Tasty tap water, a good water service and maintained pipes. Quality of water service and technology in Japan has been transferred to developing countries such as Cambodia. Problem seems to cause from wastage of water like water leakage and stolen water, namely, "Non-Revenue Water". This video shows how to reduce Non-Revenue Water, suggesting countermeasures for water workers in developing countries. At "World Water Forum" in Turkey, JICA introduced this digital knowledge of Japanese bureau of waterworks and private companies that cached the attention of other countries.
